Try this authentic recipe at home and do let us know your feedback through your comments. <br /> <br />INGREDIENTS <br /> <br />1 packet baby potatoes peeled <br />2 cups of long grain rice <br />3 tbsp ghee <br />1” cinnamon <br />4 cloves <br />2 bay leaves <br />Salt to taste <br /> <br />FOR THE CHUTNEY GRIND <br />1 cup coriander leaves <br />½ cup mint leaves <br />1 tsp ginger and garlic paste each <br />4 green chillies <br />1 tbsp dry pomegranate seeds <br />1 tsp fennel seeds <br /> <br />METHOD: <br /> <br />- Wash and soak the rice for 20 minutes <br />- Take the potatoes and apply half the chutney and pick it with a fork <br />- Take a vessel and heat the ghee. Add the bay leaves, black cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and fry for a few seconds <br />- Add the rice and sauté for 5 minutes. Add the potatoes and the remaining chutney, salt and sauté for 3-4 minutes <br />- Add 5 cups of water and cover and cook till done and serve hot with an onion raita
